Who we are

Good Vibe Specs is operated at goodvibespecs.com. We help people create app specifications. For GDPR purposes, we are the data controller for personal data collected through this site.

What we collect

Email addresses — collected when you enter your email before spec generation, and optionally when you pay.
Anonymised usage data — basic analytics to understand how people use the site (pages visited, errors encountered). No personal identifiers attached.
Session data — temporary session cookies that keep your wizard answers intact while you complete the questionnaire. These are not stored permanently.

What we do NOT store

Your questionnaire answers are processed in memory to generate your spec and are discarded after generation. We do not store your answers in any database. The generated spec content is held in your browser session only and cleared when the session ends.

Payment data

All payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. Stripe’s privacy policy applies to payment data: stripe.com/privacy.

Email marketing

If you provide your email address, it is stored in Brevo (formerly Sendinblue), our email service provider. We may send you transactional emails (such as your spec download link) and occasional product updates. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email, or by emailing privacy@goodvibespecs.com.

Your rights under GDPR

If you are in the UK or EU, you have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate data
Request erasure of your data (right to be forgotten)
Object to processing
Data portability

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@goodvibespecs.com. We will respond within 30 days.

Data retention

Email addresses are retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion. We do not retain questionnaire answers, session data, or generated spec content beyond the active session.

Third-party services

Stripe — payment processing
Brevo — email delivery
Anthropic — AI spec generation (your answers are sent to Anthropic’s API to generate the spec; Anthropic’s data handling policy applies)
Google Fonts — fonts loaded from Google’s CDN. Google may log your IP address when fonts are fetched.

Governing law

This policy is governed by the laws of Scotland, United Kingdom. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be noted at the top of this page with an updated date.
